Well folks, I've been run out of my first village. Yep, sure did! Pissed off the wrong ex-mayor, city councelman and war hero. OUCH!! That's going to leave a mark.

OMG!

This place is beautiful, the Deer, Bear and Eagles are a wondful treat to an outdoors person like myself. I went hiking today and saw lots of Eagles, a Sea Otter, a few Deer and heard a Bear chompping his teeth in the brush. Thank the stars above that's all it was. I'm 5 miles outside the Village and by myself. Not a good place to have an "encounter" with a Kodiak Brown Bear.

I'll be working here for the next 2 or3 months, I should have lots to blog about. So far the people are friendly. We've only been here a week and am just starting the project. I am looking forward to exploring this wonderful place more and sharing it with you.

Board Walk Community

Not much to Wack in Kasigluk.
I spent the month of April working there and although the people are very friendly there just isn't anything to do. Hunting.......the Geese haven't arrived, the Tarmigan are gone and the Sand hill Cranes are flying to better places. Fishing.....the ice in the break-up stage so it's too unstable to drill holes in. The Pike are hungry too!
I could always play Bingo or Pull Tabs.......no thank you, I'll end up going through a mating ritual or something. I jokes!

Fishing in Feburary

Sometimes I get Ideas that leaves me scratching my head.
I chose to get totally drunk on Saturday night, making a classic fool of myself of course. Then (here's the good part) I decide to go Trout fishing on the Upper Kenai. I got up made a lunch and was out the door by 7:00 am. I'm an hour out of town before I realize that this was a very bad Idea. You can Imagine how hungover I was. Feeling like shit and talking to my friend who had the party who told me what an ass I was, bad start to a bad day!! I hate it when I do stupid stuff!!
I still want to go fishing and I do. I met a couple of good guy's and there female friends and had a really good time fishing with them. There's something about woman in chest waders fishing in the middle of the winter that is a HUGE turn on. Needless to say we all had a good time.
Alaska is a wonderful place to meet people who enjoy the outdoors. Fishing in the winter is the best way to get rid of an hangover. OK, not the best way but still better than sitting at home feeling like shit.

First blog adventure

I'm sitting in my friends house waiting for him to come to from a night of drinking and.....well having a good time. Woo Hoo. When he does come around we will start to have some more good times....we never know where this will lead to except we will have fun doing it!
